Proud southerner and obesity survivor, Matt Menard is a New York based comedian originally from south Louisiana and the perfect embodiment of “country done come to town”. His specialty is highlighting the southern experience and contrasting it against big city living in NYC. 
Matt can be found performing in front of sold out audiences at comedy clubs such as The Stand, Broadway Comedy Club, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and many others. He is also the producer of the popular Raw Laughs comedy, a sushi inspired comedy show. 
Matt’s comedy covers growing up on a farm in rural Louisiana, his early struggle with obesity, living life after Gastric Bypass surgery, and comedic experience of being a late bloomer. 
Matt’s comedy translates for any audience and can perform or host corporate events, local gatherings, and has experience performing and producing online/Zoom shows. Matt also enjoys counceling young people, especially those who may be struggling with their weight. Matt’s speech “Do One Impossible Thing”, is his inspirational story of weight loss and working towards his dream of being an entertainer.
